Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) is a UK charity working
to secure the environment for birds. Please visit the RSPB
website for more information (link opens in a new window).
The British Trust for Ornithology (BTO) also promotes bird conservation, mainly through volunteer-based surveys. The BTO website contains lots of useful information, including a list showing the status of individual species of those British birds for whom conservation is an issue (links open in new windows).
