Conservation Schemes at Angel of the North Fishing Lakes
Conservation is important to Angel of the North Fishing Lakes and a number of schemes and initiatives are underway to help to protect existing habitats and introduce new habitats. Read more in habitats.
One particular scheme that is already underway involves the re-introduction of traditional organic hayfields and wildflower meadows. Read more in hayfields and meadows.
Many native British species of plant and animal are currently in decline. Angel of the North Fishing Lakes hopes to help to reverse this trend by carefully considering the planting and landscaping of the project. Read more in native species.
