Angel of the North Carp and Coarse Fishing Lakes
Fish for carp (common, mirror, ghost, leather, crucian), roach, bream, tench, golden tench, perch, Ide, rudd, golden rudd and golden orfe at one of the three lakes at Angel of the North Fishing Lakes, which cover over 15 acres of land with approximately 8 acres of water, giving the option of:
- Bowes Lake - almost 3 acres of carp fishing
- Lookout Lake - over 4½ acres of mixed coarse fishing
- Bassett's Pond - Mixed Coarse great for bad weather conditions as very sheltered also as a training lake.
The lakes are set in 64 acres of farm land in County Durham, near Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, surrounded by traditional hay meadows & lovely countryside yet right by the A1.
