Lookout Lake
Lookout Lake covers over three acres and is stocked with a variety of coarse fish.
Angel of the North Fishing Lakes have been privileged to source
- Rudd, and Golden Rudd - magical and 4 years old
- Roach with some nice sizes - very special fish
- Bream - a good quantity of bream with some smaller 6 inch to some surprise sized ones
- Tench and golden tench which we have been blessed, with sizes from 4 inch to 7 lbs plus
- Perch in a huge variety of sizes
- Carp from 12 oz to 2 lbs including some stunningly beautiful fish,
- Crucian Carp - our treat and a wow for anglers. We have a large quantity of gorgeous crucian carp which start at 2 lbs 4oz to our special at 3 lbs 11 oz.
We aim to keep a constant water depth of 7 foot but in some areas it is only 6 foot due to the undulating bottom. It offers bankside fishing pegs, which fish towards the back of the island and island fishing via a bridge which fishes towards the fish sanctuary. One complete bankside is a no fishing area and wildlife sanctuary.
