Mission Statement
Ann & Arthur Adlington’s aim/mission is to develop Bassett’s Lookout into a sustainable, financially viable and competitive, consumer focused agricultural development which includes biodiversity and conservation in farming and fisheries.
This will be achieved through responsible stewardship of respective ecosystems including: organic farming, horticulture, aquaculture, quality animal welfare, holistic management, public awareness, education, and conservation practices.
Benefiting and contributing to enhancing rural economy, society, the environment, animals, wildlife, aquatic life, flora & fauna and leave a conservation legacy for all current and future generations to enjoy
Core values
To contribute to society by education ensuring use of all six senses and enlightenment about surroundings and life forms in the surroundings.
To improve, preserve and enhance the land so that we can maximise its biodiversity and protect the ecosystems and environment.
To educate and improve awareness of the need to preserve all forms of life in natural habitats, and to the dangers of disturbing and destroying the habitats.
