National fishing Week fun taster sessions Aug 19th to 29th for anyone wishing to have a go at fishing.

If you get hooked on fishing you then can enrol on our angling courses for beginners, and progress on to intermediate courses if required.

Junior matches through the summer holidays –give us a ring for availability.

Water voles have settled in and made their home on two of the lakes.

Swans –the pair of swans which choose to breed in 2005 have stayed all winter and bred again in 2006. This year 5 signets have hatched and are growing fast.

In May 2 Goliath Herons, which breed in Tropical Africa & E Iraq, visited for 2 days & gave us some challenges as they decided to feast on our fish and boy could they take some sized fish. These herons are 210 to 230 cm tall which is huge, very much taller than our native herons, also they have powerful black bill and black legs which is very different from our orange billed herons.

Special offer ‘evening after work fishing tickets at £4.00’ are now available
