Aquaculture related training courses
Aquaculture is the term given to the farming of aquatic plants and animals,
including fish and aquatic plants. Angel of the North Fishing Lakes will
be offering training courses based on their experience of both fish and
aquatic flora and fauna management. Timetables are not yet available,
but it is anticipated that courses will be run both on an ad hoc
basis and on set dates.
Plans include:
- Fish Management
- Fish Culture
- Aquatic Plants
Courses will be open to both individuals and groups, including schools and colleges, by prior arrangement. Community and wildlife groups are particularly welcome.
