Biodiversity related training courses
Once open, Angel of the North Fishing Lakes will be running a range of training courses. Timetables are not yet available, but it is anticipated that courses will be run both on an ad hoc basis and on set dates. The courses are likely to be mostly field-based and will therefore be run more often during the spring and summer months. Some of the courses will include an introduction to identification.
Plans
include:
- Wetlands
- Plants
- Insects
- Birds
- Animals
- Protection/Introduction of habitats & native species
Courses will be open to both individuals and groups, including schools and colleges, by prior arrangement. Community and wildlife groups are particularly welcome.
If you are interested in finding out more about any of the biodiversity related training courses or have ideas for other courses you would like to see us run, then please use our enquiry form to get in touch. We look forward to hearing from you.
